Japanese Black Pine (Pinus thunbergii) – Moyogi Style – Collector's Specimen

Tree height (excluding pot): 85 cm Width: 73 cm Pot: Unglazed brown ceramic, 52 × 38 × 14 cm Style: Moyogi (informal upright) A magnificent specimen, over 90 years old, featuring a refined branch structure with beautifully developed foliage pads. Its outstanding mature bark enhances the tree's elegant and powerful trunk movement. Trunk diameter: 10 cm Nebari (surface root spread): 28 cm This tree is in excellent health and requires full sun to maintain its vigor and compact growth. It shows no major pruning scars and no visible wire marks, reflecting many years of meticulous care. The tree was restyled in March 2025 using copper wire. Originally from the collection of Master Shino Kentaro, this exceptional bonsai is intended for discerning enthusiasts and serious collectors seeking a truly outstanding specimen.
