Juniperus chinensis itoigawa

Description

Height of the tree without its pot: 530mm. Width of the branches: 640 mm.

Artisanal quality non-enamelled pot from Yixing: 410*310*105 mm.

Moyogi style. Juniper with graceful trays, a shari on its twisted trunk and jins.

Diameter of the trunk: 25/70 mm. Nebari of 200 mm.

Itoigawa variety with green canopy thin scales particularly vigorous and perfectly adapted to the bonsaï cultivation. Contrary to the juniperus chinensis, it only loses little foliage in the beginning of summer.

This tree has a formed bark because it is more than 50/60 years old.

Not any cutting wound nor wire mark. This subject was imported from Master Tomoya Nishikawa's nursery.

Remarkable subject! True bonsaï with natural jin and shari, do not mistake with the tanuki bonsaïs.

Reformed in September 2019 with copper wire, which enables you to see the trunk and the superb shari, unique feature of this bonsaï.
