Juniperus chinensis itoigawa

Description

Height of the tree only : 190 mm. Width of the branches : 255 mm.

Artisanal quality brown-colored non-enamelled pot : 130 x 110 45 mm.

Moyogi style. Juniper with very graceful trays, an exceptional shari on the twisted trunk and some jins.

Itoigawa variety with thin green canopy scales, particularly vigorous and perfectly adapted to the bonsaï cultivation.

It loses only little foliage in the beginning of summer compared to the standard juniperus chinensis. Formed bark because this tree is more than 40 years old.

No strong wire wound nor cutting wound. It comes from Master Shiraiichi's nursery. Exceptional subject! Authentic bonsaï with natural jins and shari.

Do not mistake with tanukis.

Reformed in February 2021 with wire copper by Master Tomoya Nishikawa.

The bonsaï was repoted in April 2020 so you will have to repot it again in April 2023, the same pot will be perfect.

Selected by Guy Maillot for the quality of its trunk and all the emotion this extraordinary tree gives to the viewer.

Admire the knotted trunk, unique character of this bonsaÏ.

The whitening with jin product of the dead trunks, softly toned with charcoal will give it an ash color which will give a special touch to this bonsaï.
