Juniperus chinensis itoigawa
Description
Height of the only tree : 680 mm. Width of the branches : 380 mm. Bunjin-ji style.
Dimensions of the brick color non-enamelled pot : 300*280*90 mm.
Diameter of the trunk : 25-35 mm Nebari :
100/120 mm.
Requires generous watering in summer and a regular fertilization all along the dOrmancy period.
Well ramified piece with graceful trays and a shari on the trunk.
Not any strong wire or cutting wound. For bonsaï lover.
Itoigawa variety with green canopy thin scales, particularly vigorous and perfectly adapted to the bonsaï cultivation. Contrary to the classic juniperus chinensis, this variety only loses little foliage in the beginning of summer.
Bonsaï completely reformed, cut and ligatured by Master Tomoya Nishikawa in September 2019.
