Juniperus chinensis itoigawa

Description

Important masterpiece.

Height of the only tree : 680 mm. Width of the branches : 660 mm.

Itoigawa variety that is much more vigorous that standard chinensis type, it does not lose its leaves during summer and has a thinner and more bright green.

Japanese artisanal non-enamelled pot with rivets, bright brown colour : Ø 340*90 mm.
Moyogi style. Perfectly formed and ramified trays. Base of the trunk : 35*65 mm. Nebari : 170 x 200 mm. This bonsaï has a perfectly formed bark because it is more than 150 years old. It comes from yamadori and was cultivated in pot at Master Tomoya Nishikawa's home for 40 years, in Himeji, Japan. It has some jins. No strong wire wound nor cutting wound. Exceptional bonsaï! For exacting collector.

Much of grace and elegance for that masterpiece. The helical form of the structure of this bonsaï gives it an impressive and majestuous appearance.

Admire the movemetn of the trunk, and the completely natural shari, with patina coming from all the bad weather it experienced over the years.

Do not mistake with tanuki.
