Laying child garden sculpture jizo bosatsu Laying child garden sculpture jizo bosatsu ref : 12023 Magnificent authentic granite sculpture depicting a child holding a bell in their arms, upon which rests a mouse. In Japanese, it is called "jizo bosatsu." The dimensions of this artwork are: it stands 40 cm tall and is approximately 50 cm long, with a width of 23 cm. The sculpture, crafted in a single piece, elegantly rests on a base measuring 45 * 23 cm. Despite its imposing weight of around 55 kilograms, this creation radiates with lightness. This charming character embodies youth with a posture reminiscent of the sphinx, exuding an aura of innocence and curiosity. Every detail has been meticulously handcrafted, reflecting energetic and cheerful execution. The presence of bells, traditional ornaments from ancient Shinto shrines, adds a touch of tradition and spirituality to the artwork. The bells, called "suzus," were used to capture the attention of Kami, the divine spirits. Next to the child, a mouse, symbolizing intelligence and contemplation, is depicted. It is believed to ward off problems and promote mental clarity, thus enhancing work efficiency and success in endeavors. This sculpture encapsulates the timeless beauty and profound significance of Japanese culture, while infusing your space with elegance and serenity. Our granite elements, stones, and stepping stones are usually kept outdoors. Indeed, the patina and aged appearance thus acquired (lichen and moss) provide an additional layer of authenticity, greatly cherished in the art of classic Japanese gardens. 920,00 order
sequoiadendron giganteum vida magical mistery sequoiadendron giganteum vida magical mistery R ref : 11755 This variety is still rare on the market and is a lemon yellow improvement of the standard variety. It has a straight trunk and a very thick bark, cracked and clear brown colored. The main branches take a plunging slanting direction, giving its crown a very regular conical form. The leaves are like scales, spear-shaped, and their dimensions vary between 2 and 4 cm. The evergreen leaves present lemon yellow tones with glaucous reflections and red/brown colored cones. This resinous tree is quite resistant to cold in the tempered climate of France, Belgium, and Swiss. It likes light, the best is full sun exposure, or at least 6 hours a day of direct sunlight and a good atmospheric moist. It is sensitive to wind. It barely vegetates in the very hard soils. It is hard to multiply. Indeed, the "carrot" form of the Sequoiadendron roots system makes the transplantation of this tree quite difficult. The best is to plant it when it is very young. Its red/brown trunk stands out in any landscape. Adult height: about 300-350 cm. Adult width : 60-90 cm. Medium rate growth (30/40 cm per year). The giant sequoia grows in acid, clay, moist, sandy, and well-drained soils. This variety grows in a pyramidal form when it is young, and then takes a more columnar form over the years. Delivered in a 5-liter pot. Diameter : 22 cm. Approximate height of the plant on delivery: 80-100 cm. On a side note : the sequoiadendron giganteum lives in wildlife in California on the pccodental Sierra nevada valleys until 2000 meters of altitude. It reaches, in its country, 100 meter in height. In our countries, there only are about 60 meters hight subjects. One of the pictures shows you an adult subject at the nursery of the nurseryman who obtained this variety. 48,00 out of stock
