Acer palmatum geisha gone's wild

Description

A new and spectacular maple. This small tree has crinkled, irregular leaves: deep pink edged with fuchsia in full sun, and a mix of white, green and brown when placed in partial shade. Its autumn colour is orange-red. It prefers shade or partial sun. As it matures, the branches tend to arch, giving it a beautiful effect.
It resembles Geisha a little, but is not sensitive to powdery mildew — a superb variety. Protected variety ® under license, propagation prohibited. Often wrongly called Pink Passion or Gwen's Rose Delight, and also Shirazz by Dutch mass retailers. Note: due to its slow growth, 3-litre pots reach a maximum of 30–40 cm.
