Pinus pentaphylla

Description

Height of the tree: 850 mm.

Width of the branches : 820 mm.

Ø of the trunk 14/15 cm to the crown.

Japanese non-enamelled pot of the highest quality, brown color: 465*375*125 mm.

Usura moyogi style (softly sinuous trunk). This tree is more than 70 years old. The trunk has a graceful conical shape and the tree is harmoniously proportioned. Beautiful ramifications with a formed bark. There are no major signs of wounds or traces of cut branches.

There are some small jins on the branches.

Diameter of the trunk at the collar : about 90 x 110 mm. Nebari : 140 x 180 mm.

We flew bonsai artist Mr Tomoya Nishikawa from Japan to our nursery in France to reshape this tree in February 2019 : he cut and ligatured it. His fine work can be seen in the pictures.

After he reformed the tree, 1 to 2 years of cultivation could end the formation of this bonsaï.

Superb subject coming from Master Shiino's nursery, region of tokyo. This nursery is well known in the professional japanese environment for the quality of his work on bonsaïs.
