Description

Height of the tree : 850 mm. Width of the branches : 740 mm. Artisanal quality pot, beige sand colored, non-enamelled, from Yixing : 410*310*120 mm. Moyogi style. This bonsaï is more than 50 years old. Good conicity of the trunk and good proportions of the all tree. Beautiful ramifications with a formed bark. Completely reformed in February 2018 by Master Tomoya Nishikawa who cut it and ligatured it with copper wire. Diameter of the trunk : about 180 mm at the collar. Nebari of about 240/280 mm. There are some jins on the trunk. Ibokan variety with cork like bark and particularly gracious blue toned needles. Not any strong wound or wire mark. After it was formed, from one to two years were necessary for this bonsaï to be finished. Amazing piece that comes from Master Mori san's nursery in Angyo, near Tokyo, who grew it from grafting. The nursery is famous in Japanese professional domain for the quality of his work on bonsaï pieces. The 5-needles pine variety is very rare in cultivation and unknown in Europe. Its cork aspect on the bark is a main asset.
