Description

Exceptional bonsai! For collectors and experienced enthusiasts.

This tree features a unique han-kengai style, full of emotion with the strength of its spiraled trunk and its authentic, minimalist character. From the Japanese nurseries of Master SHIINO Kentaro.

Tree height: 350 mm. Width: 400 mm. Old handcrafted unglazed square pot in light brown, dimensions: 250 × 250 × 160 mm.

Semi-cascade style, trunk diameter 70–90 mm.

Over 120 years old, grown from seed with naturally small needles.

Well-formed pads, beautiful bark, and a nebari of 160–180 mm. Requires full sun. No injuries. Excellent trunk taper, no major pruning scars or wire marks, and a very good root base. Includes aged jin and shari with a natural patina.

Re-styled by Master Tomoya Nishikawa in September 2022.
