Juniperus chinensis itoigawa

Description

Height of the tree without its pot: 290 mm. Width of the branches: 270 mm. Artisanal non-enameled collection firmed pot: 185*60 mm with a pattern on the front side. Moyogi style. Juniper with graceful trays, a shari on its trunk, and jins. Trunk diameter of about 20/30 mm and nebari of about 60 mm. Itoigawa variety with green canopy scales, particularly vigorous and perfectly adapted to the bonsaï. Unlike the classic Juniperus chinensis, this bonsaï only loses little foliage at the beginning of summer. This subject is more than 40 years old, which is why it has a formed bark. Not any strong wire wound nor cutting wound. Remarkable subject! Authentic bonsaï with natural jin and shari do not mistake with tanukis. Admire the trunk coiled upon itself with its unique shari, a defining characteristic of this bonsai. Reformed in September 2021 with wire marks by Master Tomoya. The repotting was done in April 2022; it will need to be done again in April/May 2024. Do you already have this complete book on Juniper?
