A stand-out acer palmatum arakawa outdoor bonsai with cork-like, cracked bark. This moyogi-style tree grows rapidly and is a rare example for a collector. The rosy flower buds nestle in a splay of green maple foliage that turns dark green in summer, then red-orange in autumn. This deciduous variety resists the sun well. It's descended from a cutting, not by grafting and there are no signs of wounds or cut branches. It originates from Shiino Kentaro nursery in the Kanagawa prefecture.
