Two buddhist monks garden statue jizo

Description

Sculpture 60 cm high and + - 60 cm wide. Conveying unity and peace, this granite garden statue of a pair of Buddhist monks is inspired by one found in sansenin garden near Kyoto. This is a one-off sculpture exclusively made for Maillot-Bonsaï. We commission expert stone carvers in Japan to make replicas of our favourite statues discovered on our travels. The monks' innocent expression and joined hands make them a perfect pair for a Zen garden.  Japanese name : jizo bosatsu
