Hosta fire island

Description

Hosta 'Fire Island' gets its name from the deep maroon-red stalks and superb bright yellow large leaves. The yellow hue becomes green at the end of summer. Lavender flowers at the beginning of July.

Leaves 12 cm long x 8 cm wide. 

Height: 35 cm x 60 cm wide.
Derived from crossing a longipes hypoglauca and 'Crested Surf', 1999.

Big rhizome delivered in a 1.5 litre plastic container. 

You can use also as kusamono / accent plant for bonsai display.
