Juniperus chinensis itoigawa 05050209

Description

Japanese Juniperus, itoigawa variety with very thin scales, the most adapted to bonsaï.

Height: about 360 mm. Width: about 210 mm. 

Dimensions of the pot: 160*125*50 mm. Han moyogi style. 

This tree is more than 20 years old and comes from Japanese yamadori. 

It has a beautiful bark. Diameter of the trunk: about 15/20 mm. 

It is well ramified and still requires some work: the jins and the shari on that type of juniper with a sinuous trunk. There is a shari on the trunk and some jins on the branches. 

It is currently ligatured but without strong cutting wound or wire mark. 

It comes from Master Katoh's nursery, Omiya, Japan.
