Juniperus chinensis itoigawa

Description

Height of the tree without its pot : 900 mm. Width of the branches : 750 mm. Non-enamelled pottery of : 440 x 350 x 120 mm. Moyogi style from Master Negishi’s nursery. Subject well-ramified with a graceful silhouette. Beautiful movement of the trunk with its natural shari. True bonsaï with its native shari and jins, do not confuse with the tanuki ones. Recently formed on february 2018 by master Tomoya Nishikawa : structure cutting and copper ligatures hanging. Admire the strong trunk with its diameter of about 115 mm and its curve that makes this bonsai unique.

The whitening with jin liquid of the dead trunks softly colored with charcoal will give a beautiful ash coloring.

Itoigawa species with its thin canopy green scales well-colored and particularly vigorous, perfectly adapted to bonsaï cultivation. Unlike the juniperus chinensis type, it only loses little foliage at the beginning of summer. It needs generous watering in summer and a regular fertilisation all along the dormancy period. True bonsaï aged of more 40-45 years old.

With a year more in order to densify its silhouette after his strict cutting on february you will get a master piece.
