Family: Ulmacées Kind: Ulmus As named commonly elm. His/her/its Japanese name is : NIRE KEYAKI (pronounce nilé guéyaqui). Feature The Ulmus kind includes about 30 species usually living in the boreal moderate zones. Rustic, the elms ask however for a good ambient humidity, with the exception of the Asian species (pumila and parvifolia) that adapt a lot of drought enough.
